What We Do

From the WORLDING event space in Elephant and Castle in London, we are collaborating with a wide range of artists, curators, musicians, writers, filmmakers and community organisers who share our goal to create meaningful public engagement with our work. From panel discussions and community cinema nights to live music and community dinners, our fundamental goal is to bring communities into conversation.

By building trust, participation and long-term community engagement around the issues we work on. We believe people are more likely to act when they feel part of something shared.

Deaths, disappearances and violence at borders are often kept politically distant from everyday public life. Part of responding to this reality means creating spaces where people can engage with these issues directly, collectively and humanely.

London is home to communities directly impacted by displacement and border systems, and it is also home to our International Programme, which is why we believe it is our responsibility to create community space to meaningfully connect with humanitarian realities through arts and culture.

Support us

If you have an idea, project, skill, performance, exhibition, conversation or event that could contribute meaningfully to this space, we would love to hear from you. We are actively looking to collaborate with anyone interested in building thoughtful public engagement around displacement, migration and solidarity, which has included artists and curators, musicians and performers, writers and poets, filmmakers and photographers, researchers and educators, community organisers, other cultural spaces and collectives, and also diaspora-led initiatives.

To put it simply, if you want to help bring people together around important issues then you are warmly invited to attend events, get in touch to collaborate on programming, propose any ideas you might have, or support the space or explore a partnership.

We are building this collaboratively and want the programme to grow through the communities around it.

Partnership

If your brand, studio or creative team want to support our programming as partners, we are also interested to hear from you. Our events bring together engaged audiences across the arts, humanitarian, academic and civic spaces in London, creating opportunities for thoughtful partnership, visibility and collaboration within a values-led environment.

Partnerships have included event sponsorship, in-kind support, collaborative activations, food and drink partnerships, creative production support or co-created public programming.

We are particularly interested in partnerships that seek genuine, community-oriented and creatively ambitious outcomes.

Our London events programme is hosted in partnership with WORLDING, an artist residency and cultural space based in Elephant and Castle.

Together, we actively seek partners who share our goal to bring advocacy, community and culture into the same room and generate conversation. The WORLDING space exists to be a meeting point between artists, displaced communities, organisers, researchers and the wider public, and we seek to build partnerships that create opportunities for dialogue, collaboration and collective engagement.

Get Involved

The simplest purpose of this programme is to bring people together around the work that we do. So if you would like to attend events, collaborate on programming, propose an idea, volunteer, support the space or explore a partnership, please get in touch. We are building this collaboratively and want the programme to grow through the communities around it.
